Store your Riora somewhere cool and dry, out of direct sunlight. No refrigeration needed.
Storage
A cupboard or drawer away from heat is ideal. Avoid a windowsill, a car, or a steamy bathroom cabinet — humidity is worse for capsules than temperature.
Keep the lid closed properly and leave the little packet inside the bottle where it is (more on that below).
Does it need to go in the fridge?
No. Neither product needs refrigerating or freezing.
Expiry date
It's printed on the bottle. Don't take it past that date — message us instead and we'll sort it out.
If a bottle is near expiry when it arrives, tell us. That shouldn't happen and we'll replace it.
What's the packet inside the bottle?
A desiccant. It absorbs moisture and keeps the capsules dry. Leave it in the bottle, and don't eat it.
There's a little powder in the bottom of the bottle
That's normal. Capsules rub against each other in transit and shed a small amount of residue. It doesn't affect the product.
The capsules look slightly different from my last bottle
Small variations in shade between batches are normal with botanical ingredients, because plants aren't identical from harvest to harvest.
What isn't normal: capsules that are cracked, stuck together, significantly discoloured, or smell unusual. Don't take those. Send us a photo and the lot number and we'll replace the bottle.
How big are the capsules?
They're a standard capsule size, taken with water. Taking them with a full glass of water and with food is what most people find easiest.
Travelling with Riora
No problem. A few practical notes:
- Keep capsules in the original labelled bottle. It saves questions at security and means the ingredients are readable if anyone needs them.
- Carry them in hand luggage rather than checked bags, where temperatures swing more.
- If you use a pill organiser day to day, that's fine at home — just keep the original bottle so you always have the label and lot number.
Drug testing, athletics or military testing
If you're subject to testing, check with your testing authority before starting, and share the Supplement Facts from the product page with them. We can't give you an assurance about how any particular testing programme treats a specific ingredient.
Is it suitable for particular diets?
The complete ingredient list, including the capsule itself, is on the Supplement Facts on each product page. If you follow a specific diet or avoid particular ingredients, that's the place to check — and if anything is unclear, message us and we'll get you a definite answer rather than a guess.
